Switch from OC 0.60.0 to 0.63.0, NOW IT WORK !

My system works very well, but only with OC 0.60.0
When I try to update a OC 0.63.0 the machine start regularly but after 3 minutes reboots.

I tried a very timeS without success!

Below the sequences for preparation of EFI directory :

STEP 1 : COPY from EFI-OC-0.60 OF the full dir APPLE in the ROOT of the new EFI-OC-0.63





STEP 2 : BOOT , we havent' copy this file in the new EFI-OC-0.63.





STEP 3 : config.plist and dir Resource copy from EFI-OC-0.60 to new EFI-OC-0.63.0





STEP 4 : copy from EFI-OC-0.60 to EFI-OC-0.63





STEP 5 : I maintained in the EFI-OC-0.63 the original (no copy from EFI-OC-0.60.)





STEP 6 : I copy from EFI-OC-0.60 only the HfsPlus.efi, the others 2 files are the original present in the DIR of EFI-OC-0.63





STEP 7 : Full copy of dir kext from EFI-OC-0.60 to EFI-OC-0.63 (we haven't search in the web new version of this kext )





The last point, I have not changed anything config.plist (the original of EFI-OC-0.60 was updated with the last version of VANNILLA-AMD PATCH)

I would try go to the guide create a new efi from scratch.
download your kext with the current versions
configure your plist. with the current changes of 0.6.3

DummyPower has been moved to the Emulate section in OC plist.

have you run your config.plist through OC Sanity checker?

Personally I use CorpNewt's script to compare my config to a new version of OC's Sample.plist to see any changes and copy over/delete values.

Hi, I used OC Sanity checker and applied the suggestions proposed by the system, now everything works OK even with OC-0.63 !!!!

Fantastic and wonderful!

Just one more thing, I use hom ethernet and have seen a clear downgrade of the speed in the connection compared to the LINUX or Windows sections.

Do you have any suggestions on:

- How to check the speed of my ethernet in MACOS

- How to increase performance?
