Just felt like sharing bc I'm so happy with the results. Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 - oc 4gHz
GPU: Sapphire RX580 4Gb
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 24Gb 2666mHz - oc 3000mHz(4+4+8+8)
MOBO: MSI x370 Gaming Plus
Followed vanilla method, only problem was that macos didn't create its own EFI partition, but this was easily solved by copying the EFI from the install USB. Windows 10 and Catalina 15.5.6 installed on one SSD, with separate EFI partitions for windows and macos.
Recently updated to 15.5.6 - update was flawless.
iServices kinda working. Finding a serial number took some time and once I got it I was able to sign in with apple Id, however, iCloud doesn't work. It wants me to sign in as if apple id and iCloud are separate entities, and then says something along the lines of 'apple id is valid but not an icloud account' . App store works, but facetime, imessage etc. do not.
Another issue is usb webcam support. On windows i was using a cheap 4k action camera as a webcam, but on macos the image is squashed as if its receiving a 16:9 feed in 4:3 or something. I'm over it though, i'm using a windows laptop for discord, zoom etc.
Otherwise everything is great. Boot is fast, system is stable. I'll attach my config.plist and an alternative EFI mounting tool, hopefully it's useful to someone.
