Ryzen 3900x
Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC
Nvidia GTX 980ti
2 x 16GB HyperX 3200 RAM
Samsung Evo 860 1TB - Windows Install
Transcend 512GB SSD - High Sierra Install
Opencore 0.6.0

Used the ff: ACPi
SSDT-CPUR.aml
SSDT-EC-USBX-AMD.aml

the ff kexts:
AppleALC
AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext
Lilu.kext
LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext (release 1.0.0)
NVEnabler.kext
VirtualSMC.kext
WhateverGreen.kext

these drivers
HFSPlus.efi
OpenRuntime.efi

followed this guide for my config.plist

BOOT-ARGS
-v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 npci=0x2000 alcid=1 nvda_drv_vrl=1

BIOS settings changed

used xmp1
enabled CSM support
disabled 4g encoding
thanks to MinipomyTTV for figuring out to disable 4g and use ncpi=0x2000 instead. that got visual to work properly.

at install screen initially didnt get network card to work
used this terminal command to set network card to gigabit (the network card is 2.5G by default)
thanks to shaneee for help on this

ifconfig en0 media 1000baseT

Was able to install high sierra after this.

Set the network card again to 1000baseT via system preferences.

updated to latest high sierra version via the app store.
used the insanelymac nvidia web driver updater to install nvidia web drivers.

nvidia webdriver app
NVIDIA® WebDriver Updater.app

did some post install cleanup mainly
added the GUI for open core
moved bootloader to the efi
used MountEFI to mount the efi
and ProperTree for config.plist editing in both windows (pre install) and mac (post install)

what works
usb
gpu
ethernet
bluetooth (full testing needed)

doesnt work
wifi (working on it)
audio over hdmi (any leads would be appreciated)
iservices (went through 20 serials and counting so far)

havent tested
sleep - disabled all functions anyway to avoid weird panics

any help for the Intel® Wi-Fi 3168 kext and how to load it into the system would be appreciated. thanks!

got a workaround for wifi working
started with this

used
itlwm for the kext
it makes the system think that the wifi card onboard is a usb card.

how to install
used propertree to include kext in config.plist
installed heliport

works fine for browsing the web. havent tested mission critical situations yet but all documentation says this is still an alpha build.

Have you performed additional testing? Are you using this machine regularly?

Oooh this is encouraging. I've been trying to get a GTX 1060 working with a B550M board for around 2 weeks now. Did you change anything on the NVEnabler Info.plist? Trying this now!

Update: Did not work for me :( tried NVinject and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext+NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext too. Wonder if I need to change something in these kext plists too. Just getting stuck on the login screen bootloop with my B550+GTX 1060 6GB on Opencore 7.2. Maybe I should go for the legacy 0.6.0 like you did?
