Since the last weekend, I have been attempting to install Catalina 10.15.7, using OpenCore 0.6.2. I properly followed Dortania guide, did sanity check of the config.plist, applied all the available BIOS settings (as much permitted in my bios), but I ended up with this error -

28:081 00:017 AAPL: [EB|`B:WFDW] Err(0xE), 0 @ LocHB 71B4903C-14EC-42C4-BDC6-CE1449930E49
28:098 00:016 AAPL: [EB|#LOG:DT] 2020-10-28T13:56:22
28:115 00:017 AAPL: [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] 2020-10-28T13:56:22

I tried troubleshooting, booting from different USB ports, and even used the additional kexts used by similar builds. Though most of the log has changed, I am still reaching the same point. Can anyone please help me? I am almost at the verge of abandoning it, given the amount of time I have spent on this. I am attaching my latest log. The system details is in my signature. Please let me know if you need any additional info.

It is set to false on mine. I don't understand what is OCSMC. Below I have marked the places where I see Err, I don't know if those are the items that are causing the problem or something else.

I figured that I was looking at the wrong place for the issue. The posts above are from the log that was saved to EFI root. When I recorded the verbose (literally on my mobile), I saw that the display is shutting down after IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0
Upon checking the Troubleshooting page, I tried all the steps that seemed relevant for my GT 710.
shikigva=40
agdpmod=vit9696
Changed the SMBIOS to iMac14,2
Tried to find a way to force PCIe to 3.0, but the card only supports PCIe 2.0. Can this be the reason?
My monitor is connected directly (no adapters) to the HDMI port, should I try any other port?

Has anyone been successful with GT 710 paired with Ryzen 5 3600x on a B450?

Check what variant your GT 710 is. You can check this with GPU-Z on Windows. Mine uses GK208 and works even in Big Sur.

Mine too is same, only for a tad lower ASIC rating. It runs at PCIe 2 x8, right? Did you use any additional boot arguments? I am planning to do a DDU clean install. Shall post if I get any success with it.

DDU isn't going to help as that deals with Windows. I didn't do anything special when I tested it. Just latest Whatevergreen.kext and iMacPro1,1 SMBios.

It was getting listed on my BIOS. So I just thought if cleaning it out will help. Obviously it didn't. I could install it by disabling nvidia driver in boot arguments. Will nVidia patch work for this? I mean now it only says 8MB vram.
Also, do WiFi dongles work with Catalina. The one I am using doesn't have drivers for Catalina, but supports till Sierra.

Everything that I need is now working. I only want to patch my video card somehow. Is there an alternate way? Should I use Legacy Nvidia patching mentioned in the guide?
Is there any other work around?

Is there any other patch which I can try? I couldn't find anything working for me that is listed in WEG Geforce FAQs.
I tried spoofing GPU, but there was a panic ACPI Error:...AE_ALREADY_EXISTS
While I was spoofing it, I decided to take a look at my DSDT and see how it is defined there. I observed that in my DSDT had Method (_DSM, 4, Serialized) while the SSDT-GPU-SPOOF has it as Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)
Can this be the reason for the IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0 error?

I used the latest OC0.6.3 and all the latest releases of kexts with it. Still the same result. I also tried to spoof GPU but I think it doesn't work with new GPUs, as I was getting errors while creating NVCAP.
I am really out of ideas, @Shaneee, can I send you my DSDT, EFI and any other files that may be needed for you to have a look. I saw on Discord channel too that there are people struggling with the same issue.
