Hi, I have an Ideapad 5 laptop with ryzen 5 4500. I installed VMWare 15.5 and it was unlocked to install OSX.
I downloaded several vmx with Catalina and followed the installation guides. The problems I have are 2 ... the first if I do not put the CPU masking patch the installation starts but then crashes with the message "the cpu has been disable by the guest operating system. power off or reset the virtual machine amd osx"
The second is that if I put the masking codes the installation doesn't even start with the failed boot message ...
I can not go on. Could this be a very new CPU problem and that the Ryzen 4000 series is still not supported?
I would like to install virtualized or native OSX ... do you have any suggestions?
