Hi guys, I have a big problem with Nvidia web driver. I am using open core to complete a hackintosh. I installed high sierra 10.13.6 (17g66) then i upgraded to the version (17g14042).
When I install the Nvidia web drivers and reboot the system, the screen goes black and I can't do anything anymore.
My setup is:

  • Ryzen 9 3900x
  • Gigabyte aourus ultra x570
  • GTX 1050 TI

I'm sorry but this is my first hackintosh and I don't know how to fix it. Can you help me?
This is my config.plist

Try setting your PCIe to gen3 in the bios and then clear your nvram and reboot.

Thank for your answer. I tried but it goes back to black screen. Can you tell me if the config.plist is right? because on google and youtube I have seen many solutions with clover but not with opencore.

If you’ve updated since installing the web drivers they will need updated too. Add nv_disable=1 as a boot arg so you can boot. Install the web drivers for the matching build number or 10.13.6 you’ve got installed.
Remove the nv_disable boot arg and it should boot now.

Thank you so much shaneee. I think that I have understand. now I'll try to do it. I have to insert nv_disable = 1 after nvda_drv_vrl = 1 in the boot arg of section 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82, then I install the new webdrivers, remove nv_disable and reboot the system. exact?

There are issues with your config from the looks of it. The web drivers aren't an issue at this point.

@Sbocco Ive cleaned up your EFI Folder and removed a load of not needed drivers, changed a few quirks and corrected a few mistakes. Your UUID was also Borked so I created a new random one for you. Its all clean according to my eye and OC Validate.
Clear your NVRam before booting into the EFI for the first time. Try Now and Good Luck. :)

Thank you very much, the drivers are finally installed.
I ask you one last favor. Why doesn't it recognize the gtx 1050TI? Now the drivers are installed but it doesn't see the gpu

I never checked but make sure SecureBootModel is set to disabled and remove the boot argument nv_disable=1

Sorry was busy so couldn't check the EFI. Seems AudioGod has you covered though. Make sure nv_disabled has been removed as he's mentions as this disables the card from running.

Try this. Based on what AudioGod uploaded for you.
