hi, i'm new here, and a few days ago i followed this tutorial to install macos sierra on my virtual machine. however, when I went to see the system information, the graphics was like this:
graphics: display 3mb
only 3mb of video memory?
because of that I was unable to adjust the screen resolution to anything beyond 1024x768 (and my monitor has a resolution of 1440x900); in addition, the system crashed a few times and some icons could not load, instead, green or other colored stripes appeared in place of the icons. I've tried to search on several sites, but none of the people with the same problem were using a virtual machine or an amd processor, so I had to post it here.
host configuration:
cpu: amd a6-9500, 8 compute cores, 2c + 6g
hd: sata 1tb
ram: 16gib ddr4 (2x 8gib ddr4)
video card: amd radeon r5 (integrated with the processor)
motherboard: asrock a320m-hd
audio card: elna audio (integrated into the motherboard)
guest configuration:
ram: 11.38 gib
hd: sata 500 gib
processor cores: 2
network adapter: nat
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE:
I almost managed to solve this, just type: graphics mode=1440x900x32 in that part:
I finally found the reason why the graphics don't load properly:
I did a research on this error, and nobody had exactly the same error as me, someone help me? please
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE 2: I solved my own problem. it was just putting the command between quotes:
"Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32"
however, even so the video memory problem continues, but now the memory has been increased from 3 to 4 mb, so the graphics are still sh*t.
as you could see, there is still the problem of the icons being replaced by those colored stripes.
is there a tool for my virtual machine, any configuration that i can change in that part of the boot or something?
