Hello,

I've been successfully running Big sur and decided to switch to Monterey.

I've created USB installer with standard createinstallmedia method and then copied latest version (0.7.4) of opencore. I also downloaded latest available kext for my platform:

lilu.kext
VirtualSMC.kext
Whatevergreen.kext
Restrictevents.kext
NVMEFix.kext

Along with latest AMD patches that has been running flawlessly on big sur for me:

Unfortunately i cannot run Monterey installer, i am stuck at following kernel panic:
(sorry for image quality, cant make opencore log screen output to .txt)

I dont know what to do next.

My configuration:
CPU: Ryzen 3900x
GPU: RX570 4GB
MOBO: MSI X570-A PRO (Latest BIOS 7C37vHF3)
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHZ
SSD: SAMSUNG 980 PRO for OS ( + 2 additional 1TB 970 evo plus as storage)

I have tried every quirk/kext combination without success.

Thank you in advance.

Not all MSI boards are affected, and those that are only with newer BIOS revisions. Since you have a Zen 2 CPU you could roll back your BIOS to a working one (those are without support for Zen 3 so you'd have to stuck to your CPU).
