Hi guys,
first thread for me - and I hate to say, but it's all about problems...
Today I ported my old Hackintosh system to a new one. Specs are as follows:
Ryzen 7 3700X
32 GB Corsair DDR4 3600 Samsung B-Die @ 3600 MHz
Asus B550 E Gaming /w Thunderbolt 3 Extension
AMD 5700XT Anniversary Edition
Samsung 970 EVO NVMe SSD
All should be fine - since all components worked fine on a B450 board before (Asus Strip B450-I Gaming).
I managed to get all things boot to the Mac OS installer within minutes. No issues, no panics, no nothing. But after I formatted the SSD to APFS, and selected the drive where I want to install OS X on, I will be ported back to system utilities, where I could select to install OS X.
The log states a pretty weird error - thread 0 crashed with x86 thread state (64-bit). Furthermore it points on having no rights to read off a specific section.
The weird thing about this is, if I switch back to the other board, IT JUST DOES INSTALL.
So, if anyone could help me out on this - I'd be really grateful!
Thanks in advance
