Install Catalina OC-0.5.8 "Code Failed to match a default boot option" 05-20-2020

Hi, this is a new install having issues with the installation process.
Error getting: "Code Failed to match a default boot option"
On:
  1. ASUS RogStrix x570-E
  2. Ryzen3900x 12core
  3. MSI Radeon 5700 RX
  4. config file passes 100% the sanity checker.
  5. My bios don't have the "Above 4g code
  6. My boot USB looks correct
Any ideas and suggestions are welcome! :)
I will add here what I find and tried out: "here"

Below is how the EFI looks:
EFI - BOOT - BOOTx64.efi
ACPI: compiled : SSDT-EC-USBX.aml preconpiled: SSDT-EC-USBX-DESKTOP.aml
Bootstrap: Bootstrap.efi

Why do you have 2 SSDT files that do the same thing?

you also need the APFS driver.

I will try what you said. I will drop one and try the other one if it doesn't work

the APFS driver is strike-through in the guide see below for 0.5.8v

I will try to find this driver then.
By any chance do you know where can I get the driver?

  • ApfsDriverLoader.efi
    • Needed for seeing APFS volumes(ie. macOS).
    • As of OpenCore 0.5.8, this driver is built in and configured via config.plist -> UEFI -> APFS

Hey lithium all you have to do is click on system properties then choose startup disk all the way at the bottom then choose your mac disk and that warning will go away.
