Was steered here for a number of reasons, nothing new. Time to buy a new computer but I'm tired of waiting for a new iMac and ultimately scared of the price. I've been on the fence about just throwing in the Apple towel and building a PC, but I haaaaaate the GUI with a passion. It's reminiscent of AOL IM from the 90s - as clunky too. I have to use windows for work, and still plan to have a partition for gaming, but for everything else, I would like to work within OS X. Anyways, it's time for a new computer, I really enjoyed building a Hackintosh in the past, and from what I can glean an AMD Hackintosh should check most of my boxes. Excited to learn as much as I can before part picking and getting my hands dirty! Cheers!
