Hi guys, you think this works? Because I need more sata ports. Any alternatives are welcome.

Should work as it has an ASMedia ASM1166 chip. My Sabertooth 990FX board uses a similar SATA chip ASM1062 and it work in macOS.
Just don't expect he SATA controller to be identified correctly. It will be given the 'Generic SATA Controller' name. Unless you add the controller information to a kext such as the AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext, which I use for correct identification of my AMD and ASMedia SATA controllers.
