Curious OpenCore version mismatch

I have a bit of a conundrum on my hands. I updated my EFI to 0.60 (BOOTx64.efi / OpenCore.efi et cetera are from August 3, tweaked config.plist using the Differences.pdf) but Hackintool and the command

Code:
nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102:opencore-version

return I've booted with 0.5.7 for some reason.

Yet, the first line of the boot log in my EFI folder (so on the SSD) reports

00:000 00:000 OC: OpenCore DBG-060-2020-08-03 is loading in Optional mode (0/0)...

So I guess I'm did everything right and did boot with 0.60 OpenCore. Anyone know what could make the mismatch happen? Should I reset NVRAM perhaps? (I haven't in ages, I admit).
