Can i really build AMD 3960X Hackintosh?

Hello..

I recently have build AMD PC and it looks great speed.
Now i am trying to make hackintosh. but there are hard to find to success story.
Does anyone have success this build?
My system is follow. and i would like to run on MAC. Over 10.13 is OK.

CPU : AMD Ryzen 3960X
GPU : AMD RX5700 XT
MotherBoard : GIGABYTE TRX40 AUROS PRO wifi
RAM : 64G
SSD : 1 Tera

Many suggestion or information would be welcome.

search on amd-osx discord, in this site and also on macOS86.it you can find many successful stories and useful infos

However Gigabyte board it is the less user friendly in some aspect and in some case if you need a proper sleep/wake feature
MSI motherboard seems more friendly

Thanks for reply. sadly i am stuck in install to pc. it looks kerner panic something related. anyway happy to success of you.
I have 2 question.
1. if i name mac name as Mac Pro 7,1 it make error to install? why all another names iMacPro1,1?
2. did you make install USB from Mac or PC. i made from Mac but no luck.

I use iMac Pro because I am using a unique config.plist to boot two OSX (HighSierra and BigSur)
I do not see any advantage to use Macpro7.1..but in Big Sur it works
you have to be more specific about your initial booting error

I have no problem to build my USB with all available method

I have success to make install screen on ryzen pc. but not go further. pc freeze remains about 2 min for finishing. and searching reason. thanks

OK i success to run MacOS X Catalina. and Cinebench 20 runs very good score. i got 13650.
However there are many issue came.

1. Didn't restart or shutdown. i must push power button.
2. After Pull off usb and reboot, not booting. should hackintosh always need USB to boot?
3. I can't find Wifi even my Board is Wifi version.

I feel more and more close to real hackintosh.

any suggestion would be thanks.

I have the same issue with shutdown. Have to do it manually.

When I loaded my EFI to hard drive, usb no longer needed.

Sapphire 5700 XT
128 G Hyper X

I spent weeks on the internet but no luck, I found yours, it's exactly matching mine, can you share your EFI, it's will be helpful and much appreciated.

to fix your shutdown problem you have to fill your MMIO whitelist area with correct MMIO converted value
you have to add yours properly
