BigSur beta 4 Legacy

Success run Bigsur beta 4 on my legacy FX

here the spec

• fx 8150
• radeon 7850
• ga-78LMT usb3
• usb 5.0 BT dongle
• wifi TPLINK usb

Work?

• iService
• sleep shutdown
• usb port both 2.0/3.0
• graphics acceleration
• wifi BT using usb dongle
• handoff? I don
• everything almost work (system)

Issue?

• need 3 times to try boot BigSur cause panic
• Cmos checksum always error when botting this OS
• restart pc is take a long time

please don’t tell me about EFi 😅 this only test because I’m using catalina for primary OS

where did you find the patches.plist for AMD FX?
I'm on Catalina 10.15.6 with OC 0.60, so I don't need soembody else EFI.

I only need the patches.plist for AMD FX and nothing else.
Or did you take the patches.plist for Catalina Beta 6?

did you only try Big Sur Beta 4 or the other Beta Versions to?

I loading the Public Beta down, what will take some Days, because a only have
DSL 1 Speed.

only 1 Question: Did you use VirtualSMC.kext oder FakeSMC.kext for your AMD FX?

All the time I used FakeSMC, but I don't know if I'm forced to use VirtualSMC.kext for BigSur.

In the mean time a downloaded BigSur Beta 1 and the Download for BigSur Beta 4 is almost finish.

I use virtualSMC kext to boot bigsur without additional boot arg
