Has anyone updated to this version yet? I'm holding off until I have some positive feedback on what needs to be done to ensure a smooth update.

Check the beta 8 --> 9 thread and the beta 7 --> 8 thread, there may be clues in how people got around the 12Gb download there.

Hi anyone using rx5700xt here? My Big Sur beta 10 boots all the time but its always starts with black screen.

I know it because when I press the keyboard, there are sound made for typing (even VoiceOver works CMD+F5)

Funny Part : when I start frustrating and spam typing, the screen glitches and wolaa the screen shows up. But this sometimes can be really hard to "trigger" and will continue to stuck at black screen or blank screen

All up and running here (Version 11.0 Beta 20A5395g).

Initially had a freeze booting up with the apple logo stuck at 90% of the progress bar, and USB devices powering down.

Went closely through my config.plist, updating every aspect - patches, DSDT, settings - and found a few errors / changes compared to the latest 0.62 sample.plist file. For example, somehow my secure boot setting had disappeared from config.plist.

Anyway - anyone having problems it is - as almost always - likely due to a config.plist issue (easier said, than fixed!).

Might be lagg caused by spotlight indexing. Should go back to normal after a couple of hours, depending on how much stuff you have on boot volume.
