I just updated the EFI download on the OP. Updated OC to 6.3 (it was 6.2 before, my mistake)

After a day having troubleshooting Big Sur (it was crashing on 2nd stage of install), I have a new EFI which works great including sleep. Getting great benchmarks all round.

Opencore 6.3
Opencanvas
Latest Kexts
Latest Experimental Patches

My Specs
Ryzen 3900x
32gb Ram
Aorus Elite X570
Sapphire Reference RX5700
3 SSD (triple boot Win, Linux & MacOS)

Hope this helps someone :)
hi,

getting as well a KP on the second install stage.
what did you change in your EFI setup?
I’m stuck...

I narrowed it down to secure boot. I turned everything relating to secure boot off.

Thanks. the strange thing is when I restart I’m only left with the option of reinstalling Big Sur or start my Catalina disk, thus the installation never gets after stage 1.

I have tried using your EFI and even though I can start the Bit Sur install without any problem, the system freezes after some seconds, regardless of what I do (i.e. launchin the installer or using Disk until)...

Any idea?

Have you checked bios version and settings? Maybe unplug any usb devices etc first.
