You're legend dude!! Windows now sees it as the official motherboard, also Windows update downloaded additional intel chipset drivers and that resolved the 4 exclamation marked PCI devices in device manager it didn't have driver for.
Cool
I noticed though booting into Windows it sets the time back 8 hours every time after being in macOS, oh well I'll have to remember to change that every time.

Thanks again man, think that was the last piece in the puzzle to be resolved.

There’s a one hour offset that can be fixed with a small regedit.
make sure your regions are the same in all OS.

A General question considering the Board:
Is the WiFi Card replaceable?
( @AudioGod how did you replace the card with a BCM one? )
And If so could somebody attach some Photos here on how to do that / where the WiFi Card is located on the Board? Thanks!

Hi,
Yes I have replaced my Intel WLAN with a BCM94360NG, All you need todo is remove the shroud covering the IO plate by removing 3 screws underneath the motherboard and then there’s 2 screws holding the Intel WLAN in place.
Once you have removed the card you need to open up the metal housing and remove and replace the card inside it.
put it all back together and you are done.
You can find videos on YouTube on how to get to the card if need be but it’s super simple to do just by following the steps above.

Heres an example from a gigabyte board via one of my other threads.

How close is Beta 5 to being a daily driver? Any notable issues with this board?
I wouldn’t use it full time yet but It’s working great with my setup and everything is working apart from the gigabit ethernet port (smalltree is broken under big sur) other then that though the OS is solid and not to buggy. OpenCore hasn’t really been worked on for 12.0 other then a couple of touches here and there and same goes for most the kexts. if I was to guess I would say 3 more betas and it might be there or there about. Some people might disagree with me and some people do use it as there daily driver already but that’s my take on it anyway.

I use it currently as daily driver, but I can always boot back into Big Sur if there would be an issue. Every beta can break things again, so there is always the risk...

AudioGod,

Did Beta 5 work on your 0.7.2 EFI posted at the beginning of the month or were patches required?

If patches were required were there any config.plist modifications needed?

The 0.7.2 EFI is ready to roll as is with all beta versions of Monterey.
Enjoy Buddy

AudioGod,

I am currently using the motherboards MAC Address for the PlatformInfo -> Generic -> ROM. This was advised as the best solution when I built my first Big Sur EFI several months ago. It works but have you found that a custom MAC Address using the WireShark base works better? Or is this just the nature of the BCM94360NG? My WiFi has been significantly slower since updating from Beta 1 to 4.

Any suggestions on the MAC Address?

No just like you I use my real Mac address from my 2.5gb port and also my real UUID from my motherboard.

I wouldn’t read to much into the speed difference of your wlan on Monterey, It’s a early beta and slowly improving with each revision. OpenCore isn’t properly optimise for Monterey either, While I was helping out with the Clover side of life I noticed how much better my Bluetooth and WiFi was in clover compared to OpenCore while using Monterey. It’s early days, enjoy the bugs and niggles I say….lol

I noticed that right after installing Beta 5 the speeds increased back to that of Beta 1 and may even be a little better.

@AudioGod thank you so much for your fantastic work!!! wonderful.. i will soon get the same board and cpu as you. that makes me very happy. i am preparing a few things and then i found this forum here. very nice! i will try it.

what do i have to change if i want to install high sierra and mojave too? i think i will need 3 different EFI folders maybe. i am not an open core specialist. a lot of years ago i used clover for that :) i have read that i better use SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 then? any other little changes? would it be better for high sierra not to take the latest open core version?

Hey AudioGod, long time reader, first time poster. I'm about to dip my toes back into the world of Hackintoshing after using the real deal for the last 11 years so the majority of my build is pretty similar to yours. The awesome work you've done here has given me confidence, so thank you for all you've done for the community to make it possible for people to get going with your EFIs!

Cheers :)

Here I have made a version of my EFI converted to SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 for you.
This will work with all versions of MacOS up to and including Monterey.
The only thing that needs to change if using Catalina or newer is the SmallTreeIntel82576.kext.
The one I have put in there works with any OS up to 10.14, If you want to use 10.15 or 11.X then you need to replace the kext with version 1.3.0.
I have made dummy SMBIOS Details that you can use or just make new ones for yourself.

i think i have understood. this kext is 1.2.5... so i don´t need SMBIOS MacPro7,1. i can take this EFI for 10.13 and 10.14. and for big sur i can dublicate it and only update the kext. wow, you are my hero. thank you so much!

No Problem Buddy,
I made a small error in the EFI that I have just corrected so if you downloaded it prior to this post then download it again.
Sorry about that, Whoops... lol

And yes your correct, SmallTree Version that is installed is 1.2.5, What you can actually do is add the 1.3.0 version as well as the older kext by changing the name of the 1.3.0 kext and then adding it to your kernel setting the min version as 19.0.0 and put a max version of 18.9.9 on SmallTree 1.2.5, this way the correct kext will load with the correct MacOS version.
