No, not really.Hello,
Did you have found a solution for your Big Sur Fireface problem ?
I have exactly the same issue here. the on/off cycles dont work in my system.
Thanks for your reply,
MTM2022
Switching it off, than doing a " sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod " in Terminal, seems to eliminate the waiting time by killing the core audio service and restarting it. (i need to do it about 3 times)
Got this command from here from an unlrelated topic: https://gist.github.com/felipecsl/5177790
I have not looked deeper into to this, pretty clueless
EDIT: Found a more reliable method:
1.: Switch the FF on
2.: Run in terminal: sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod
3.: wait until the service has relaunched (a few seconds)
4.: Switch the fireface off
5.: Run the terminal command again.
6. Switch on the fireface.
it is still no real solution, but it works very reliable for me for last few days.
