The 3600 is a very good CPU, the only reason I upgraded my hack was the two additional cores make a big improvement in Handbrake.

Is there any advantage to using the 3600 over the 2600 though? Isn't the 3600 just a third gen version of the 2600?

The 3600 has about 15% higher IPC and is a bit more advanced including support for PCIe gen 4
