Hello,

Ive been working on my setup and through the help of google and many threads on this forum I almost have everything working with my current hardware except for sleep. With the new GPU fix due to the new patching everything is running smooth as can be on open core 6.3 currently.

After letting the computer timeout and sleep I get an error message :
"panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff801988e17c): Sleep transition timed out after 180 seconds while calling power state change callbacks. Suspected bundle: com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily. Thread 0x4073. <--------- does this mean that I might need to do proper USB mapping. Im not sure if this info is useful or would give any clues on getting sleep to work. I can provide my current EFI folder as well below. In my config.plist i have added my NVMe drive to root properties so it can show up internal instead of external and also I have added a DSDT for my SMBus controller in the ACPI folder.

Failure code:: 0x00000080 00000014

As far as i know, Catalina has Sleep/Wake problems. It's a hit or miss. Sleep/Wake doesn't work on my Catalina hackintosh too but works so well after upgrading to BigSur Beta.
Try USB Mapping. Maybe that'll solve your problem. Good luck.

one thing that helped me was to plug the mouse and keyboard to the USB2.0 ports at the back, if I had them on any other port, sleep would not work.

PS. I have not mapped my USB ports.

Mapped my usb ports and Sleep/Wake still does not work. Usb 2.0 devices plugged on usb 3.0 and some 3.1 ports causes this.

The only way is to plug usb 2.0 devices to usb 2.0 or 3.1(some work).
If somehow your usb 2.0 ports are populated. Just plug a usb 3.0 hub port and attach your 2.0 devices there.

I had the sleep/wake issue but just disabled sleep so no longer an issue :)

Slightly off-topic though, @Mo Al did you update your bios on the B450 and Catalina still worked ok? I updated my Gigabyte B450 I to Bios version F60 so I would be able to run a Gen3 Ryzen but then I could not boot into Catalina. Just got a black screen with the Apple logo. Had to roll back to F50 and it is now fine.
