Hardware:
  • Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar MAX
  • CPU: R7 3700X
  • Graphics: sapphire 5700XT OC
  • Memory: ADATA 16G x 2
  • Monitor: LG 27UL650 4k, connected with DisplayPort and self-offered wire
Software:
  • macOS: Catalina 10.15.4
  • Mac model: MacPro7,1
  • OpenCore: v0.5.7
  • WhateverGreen kext: v1.3.8
  • Lilu kext: v1.4.3
  • VirtualSMC kext: v1.1.2

phenomenon:
  • Sometimes when I boot the computer, entered my password (FileVault is enabled), the monitor said no signals and went to sleep mode after the progress bar of booting went to about 2/3. Sometimes when I woke it up from sleep, it also happened.
  • The only way I can do is to press the power button to poweroff and start it again. Pulling out the DisplayPort wire and inserting into another DisplayPort doesn't solve it. Using HDMI port doesn't solve it.

The problem bothered me a few days. Please help me :(

Do you by any chance use a PCIe riser cable?
