Here are my specs.

Ryzen 3900x
Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master
Gigabyte Rx 5700 Xt
G Skill 16x2 32Gb 3600
Samsung 970 Evo m.2
750W power supply

The installation for 10.15.1 went smooth. But when tried to update to 10.15.5, it will have a panic after a reboot upon completing the update.

I currently have a mac running 10.15.5 and would like to switch over via time machine to this new computer.

I have spent two days figuring this out but I can't find any solution.

I will attach EFI I used for this set up and the error message I got on verbose mode.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have included the images in the attachment. This error is so baffling to me because I have no problem going through "Install macOS Catalina" and "Recovery 10.15.5" in the boot menu but when I click my harddrive to boot, I get kernel panic. Please help me.

There seems to be an error within the update then. Remove the macOS Install Data folder on the root of your drive and download it again.

I was able to boot this NVME off of my brother's Intel platform (5960x X99 Asus Tuf) using clover bootloader. It boots perfectly. I can't help but to think that the error is coming from the the Opencore but from the update.

Also just curious, is there something wrong with the Gigabyte motherboards (x570 Aorus Master) in terms of installing Windows Operating system? I was not able to install Win10 directly so I had to install it using the intel's platform.

I did a fresh re-install and it's now running Catalina 10.15.5. Thanks for your help Shaneee!
