    @edo - I added benchmarks in the OP @iamso78 - I don't hear any whine, but I have a lot of fans and the AIO pump that probably mask it. Also, if you use: shutdown /s /t 0 to shutdown it will fully shutdown with above4g and F20a bios. Annoying, but WAY worth the benefits in Catalina...

    Gigabyte X570 Auros Master – Board to AVOID?

    That list is for Intel chipsets. I have a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master and it's working fine for me. A number of others here do too.
