Hey, new to the forum!
I'm about to embark on building my first Hackintosh system.

Here is my system specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
MSI X57A-Pro Motherboard
16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600MHz RAM
NVIDIA RTX 2080 (I know this won't work in Mac OS)
AMD HD 7870 (But this will according to the AMD GPU buying guide haha)
1TB Crucial NVME m.2 SSD

So my question to you is, is there a specific order I need to have these GPUs installed on my motherboard and how would I disable the NVIDIA GPU in Big Sur and the AMD GPU in Windows? Or is it not possible?

Hi!
Just be aware that you can't completely disable the RTX (or any other) card in macOS. It will still be physically on, it will drain power and produce heat. My RTX 2070S reaches like 50-60C doing absolutely nothing. You really feel it if you live in a country with hot climate :) And in the end I just had to remove the card from the case.

Awesome, thank you for this. When it comes to dual booting, am I fine to just partition the drive and install Mac and Windows on their respective partitions?
It's always best to have two dedicated drives for multi-booting. You will save a ton of time.
