I was having some REALLY bizarre bit decimation issues using this particular interface with Ubuntu. It's USB 2.0 class compliant, so theoretically shouldn't have had any issue, but things got weird. ProTools (most recent version) has been working without a hitch! I didn't have to take any additional steps. My audio interface (MOTU 828es) is USB 2.0 and works on my XHC0 controller ports, however for some reason, it is not recognized on my PTXH controller ports (other devices such as flash...- AdamPisces6847
