Hello !

I searched around here, but I can't find the answer needed.

The only thing left about my ryzentosh is usb mapping. But as far as I know, everything is working properly so... Do I need to usb map ? How can I check if it is necessary ? By checking USB speed transfer ? Is there any other solution ?
USB mapping seems quite long to achieve, and I won't to spend time on this if it does not change anything.

And if it is needed, how can I check if if I did it well ? Again, by checking USB speed ?

Thank you. :)

Yes, by checking speed. You don't necessarily need to map USB. I didn't and everything works on my 3900x/RX580/Asus X570-p with like 15 USB devices plugged in EXCEPT sleep but then again there's no guarantee sleep will work even after mapping.

Thank you ! I was expecting a more rigorous solution, but I will check speed.

Sleep is not working for me either. But I think it is rather related to gpu because I had some issue on Linux too (and I fexed it installing extra drivers). I saw people who gets sleep working by updating to big sur, so I am gonna wait the final release.

Thank you again. :)

Speaking from experience:
Even after USB mapping on an X370 and B450, sleep is still an issue. What I noticed is that any USB 2.0 devices plugged into a USB 3.0 or some USB 3.1 ports causes sleep issues.

a.) does not sleep .
b.) does not wake up .
c.) wakes up but black screen.

But mainly USB 3.0 ports does this on the hacks I've setup because I've used a Vention 3.0 hub(2.0 devices plugged) on a USB 3.1 port and sleep works. 10.15.7
