Hi All,
I have been trying to install macOS using Dortania's guide for the past week with no success and I could not get past the error mentioned in the title.

I am sharing the logs from OpenCore here.

Also you could check my config.plist which is shared.

I have tried every possible suggestion from Reddit such as checking MinDate & MinVersion to -1. DMGLoading to Any, JumpStartHotPlug=True, SecureBootModel=Disabled.

Opencore version: 0.9.9 DEBUG
GPU: Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+

My BIOS settings:
  • Fast Boot - Disabled
  • Secure Boot - Disabled
  • Serial/COM Port - Disabled
  • Parallel Port - Not available in BIOS
  • Compatibility Support Module (CSM) - Disabled
  • IOMMU - Disabled
  • Above 4G Decoding - Enabled
  • XHCI - Enabled
  • OS type: OtherOS (Standard)
  • SATA Mode: AHCI
  • ReSize BAR: Enabled(ON)
Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Update1: I managed to get past the error but the macOS installer reboots as shown in the below screenshot:

Attached is the updated EFI if anyone can help me figure out the issue 😄

Update 2:
I solved the issue as per the suggestion from @ jan001232 which is to use Olarilla 14.3 and it worked as it should. Now continuing with the Post-install process :)

I managed to get past the error (My own EFI) when I managed to get into the install process.

But as per the install process, I erased the designated drive and Sonoma could go through stage 1 where it downloads the OS and installs it.

Then it rebooted and chose 'macOS installer' from the picker list then there was this Apple logo which said 27 more minutes.

After that, a reboot happened for the second time where it picked the 'macOS installer' as it should (I have my experience with a previous build).

But the issue now is that it was scrolling through the verbose and it reboots after the attached screenshot, where I am trying to figure out the next steps :(

The installer freezes at the last when it should restart (using the EFI that you shared) and I had to kill the power to the PC to bring it back ON.
You need to create a regular USB installation key rather than installing via the Internet.
I recommend downloading the older version 14.3 here : https://www.olarila.com/topic/6278-olarila-vanilla-images-macos-installer/ for example. After creating the USB key with BalenaEtcher here https://etcher.balena.io/, all you have to do is replace the EFI file on the key with yours with https://www.diskgenius.com/.

OMG! It is like you know it all... The older version (14.3) did the trick and now I am in :)
