    Asus X670E Gene EFI -- Adaptable to Other X670, X670E, B650 and B650E Boards

I'm only adding the patched DSDT into OC ACPI/Add. And then apply the RebaseRegions quirk. Do you mean dropping the exiting DSDT by adding it to the ACPI/Delete section? If so, not sure about which values go there, yet. 🥲 Yet without any other modification other than adding the patched...

    Asus X670E Gene EFI -- Adaptable to Other X670, X670E, B650 and B650E Boards

It's been a while since I've tried to use/install Ventura on my ASUS X670E-I and after (so many) BIOS updates, I can't seem to get it working/booted (panics at some point) now. Therefore, I can't get to the Installation screen. The BIOS version is 2413 (at the time of writing this) and even...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

I was going to update the BIOS to 1809 on the X670E-I (ITX) but when I was about to (in the BIOS Update Screen), it said that I wasn't going to be able to rollback the bios to an older version. So I stopped, didn't update and stayed on 1654 for the time being. However, on this👉 post, he...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Ahh I see. Thank you for the acclaration and/or information. :D My current motherboard is the X670E-I (ITX). Sadly I can only have one GPU (or one PCI-E device) plugged at time. I love this form factor but it hurts me not having the extra room for other devices and being able to do more. I see...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Greetings guys, I'm curious about something. 1. Now that we have TB4 working thanks to @CaseyJS (thank you and everyone else involved), is it (would even) possible to add/use an external GPU (eGPU) setup with a TB4 enclosure and configure/have MacOS in such way that it can do graphics rendering...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Yesterday I tried to make my PowerColor RX 7900 XTX work in Monterey 12.6.2. I tried following this guide as much as I could but the PCI mapping is very different and I probably made a mistake somewhere along the DSDT creation, I got lost. Just works with the framebuffer so no hardware...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Greetings eveyone, A while ago I embarked on a journey of getting my ASUS ROG X670E-I (ITX) setup, working with MacOS Big Sur (at first), but since I'm not a "hardcore" tech savvy, I decided to search for information on the web (forums, videos, repositories, etc.) and I'm really glad and...

    Greetings! - ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I + Ryzen 9 7950X

I didn't have to do anything (patching) "special", it was mostly CPU (cores) and USB (kexts) tweaking applied to the config.plist. Just did exactly as I posted in the OP.

    Greetings! - ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I + Ryzen 9 7950X

I'm really moved into doing that. Also, I will have to get a new case, because for this ITX build I bought a Fractal Torrent Nano which sadly I can't return now. Honestly I never thought I had so much interest in running Hackintosh, but now it seems like I do. So I'll definitely check what my...

    Greetings! - ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I + Ryzen 9 7950X

OMG YES! Thank for you letting me know! I didn't check the board thoroughly when I was assembling everything, although I would prefer to use a WiFi 6 module and apply necessary hacks. I will definitely look into that in order to replace the module. Now I will just follow your thread for the...

    Greetings! - ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I + Ryzen 9 7950X

Similar thing happened to me. And let me tell you, I believe you chose correctly. I have to deal/live with what I have "on board". Thanks for sharing this info as well. However, my WiFi module is a MediaTek MT7922 Wi-Fi 6E. Probably there's a different module on the Gene. Sadly it won't work...
