what i've experienced with this soundcard over the years is that with no external driver it runs with the usb audio kext from apple but dosent enables buffer customization at driver level on a daw and the custom driver resolves that and is overall more stable but it has to work without it anyway- astroneffdj

i've had that problem with an older hack on haswell too, i just followed their procedure and it was running, wish thing gone that way this time- astroneffdj

i've already gone that route too, tested every possible way i've found online for real macs (for that specific usb audio interface) even replacing the apple usb audio kext with one from sierra but it didnt change any of my issues (didnt make them worse tho)- astroneffdj

if I switch to a kvm setup with gpu pass it will work better ? from your experience do it suits audio production ? and most importantly do this makes it at least a little more simple ?
